Upon landing at Sheremetyevo, airport staff delayed returning a dog named "Timone" to its owner, who had arrived to pick him up. Later, the dog's owner was informed that the animal's condition had worsened. After 1.5 hours, the owners of the American Bully were notified that the pet had died. This has been reported by Russian media.

The woman realized the cause of her pet's death immediately upon receiving the carrier—the box in which the dog was transported had been frozen.
