Gazprom Unable to Supply Gas Through Polish Territory

On May 12, Gazprom's official representative Sergey Kupryanov announced that due to sanctions imposed by Moscow, the company is now prohibited from using the Polish section of the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline, which belongs to EuRoPol GAZ.

The Russian side stated that Warsaw has repeatedly violated Gazprom's rights as a shareholder of EuRoPol GAZ. Kupryanov reminded that on May 11, Russia imposed sanctions against foreign companies, including EuRoPol GAZ.

In particular, Moscow has banned transactions and monetary operations with legal entities that appear on the 'black list'. Kupryanov explained, 'For Gazprom, this means a ban on the use of the gas pipeline owned by EuRoPol GAZ to transport Russian gas through Poland.'
