One of the leaders of the opposition rally has stated that he was present at the site of the infamous incident yesterday, when a group of protesters in Gyumri allegedly 'attacked' elderly people, reports Баграмян26, which also published footage of the event.

“Dear people, believe me, we conducted ourselves absolutely as befits Armenians in proportion to our numbers and did not raise hands against anyone,” said the young man while addressing the rally.

At the same time, the Armenian police informed the media that materials are being gathered in connection with the video recording of the incident.
