Eight Turkish Citizens Kidnapped in Haiti
In one of the suburbs of Haiti's capital, members of a criminal gang have kidnapped eight Turkish citizens. According to the news portal 'Haiti-24', the Turkish nationals were traveling by bus from the Dominican Republic to the Croix-des-Bouquets commune, an area known for gang activity.
The media outlet notes that following the kidnapping of the tourists, Haitian authorities immediately contacted Ankara.
