Video: Man Drives Car Towards Women’s March in Yerevan, Lawyer Goesar Meloyan Reports

Lawyer Goar Meloyan reported that during a women's march today, a man drove his car towards the participants. Meloyan made this statement on her Facebook page, sharing a video of the incident.

"Today, during the women's march, an unstable provocateur, even after being called to order by both us and the police, drove his car towards us after entering a prohibited area: a direction where the mothers of our fallen heroes raised their voices for their just demands and against injustice," she wrote.

Meloyan added that the police deserve credit for appropriately responding to the illegal actions. The video shows police officers twisting the man’s arms and escorting him away. It is worth noting that the man was not arrested, but simply removed from the area.
