Major Car Accident in Kotayk Region, Casualties Reported

On May 6, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Around 6:30 PM, a 31-year-old resident of Kotayk, Armenuhi P., lost control of her Nissan Murano vehicle on the Mayakovski-Abovyan highway, resulting in the car veering off the road and overturning in a field.

According to shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the driver Armenuhi P., along with passengers from the Kotayk region—43-year-old Naira A., 36-year-old Artak A., and 27-year-old Gevorg H.—sustained injuries and were transported to the Abovyan Medical Center. Witnesses were the first to provide assistance, followed by medical personnel from the Abovyan Medical Center, who delivered first aid to the injured on-site before their transfer to the hospital.
