Fire in Shatin Village Leaves One Dead

On May 6, at 19:16, the Vayots Dzor regional crisis management center received information about a fire that had broken out in one of the houses near the school in Shatin village.

Two fire-fighting teams from the regional fire and rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were dispatched to the scene. The fire was contained by 19:44 and extinguished by 20:13. The wooden floor of the living room (approximately 1 square meter) was partially burned.

In the living room, the body of E. H. (born in 1956) was found, partially burned. The rescuers moved the body to a vehicle for transfer.
