The man found dead in one of the tents set up by the opposition at France Square is Arthur Sedrakyan, a former member of the Yerevan Council and a candidate from the Republican Party, known by the nickname 'Tiz', reports Freenews.
Armlur.am highlighted in 2020 the controversial arrests in Yerevan, during which Sedrakyan was also detained.
Details are available in the video.
Earlier, we reported that a young man had died in one of the tents set up by the opposition at France Square. The information was confirmed by Shushan Danielyan, head of the Yerevan State Medical University, who posted on Facebook: 'A few moments ago, an unidentified citizen was transported to University Hospital No. 1 from one of the tents at France Square with cardiac arrest. All necessary resuscitation efforts were immediately undertaken at the hospital; however, unfortunately, all medical efforts were in vain, and biological death was recorded.'
It’s worth noting that since May 2, rallies have been organized at France Square by opposition forces in Armenia, with some members of the movement spending the night in the tents set up there.
