Video: We have information related to provocations, says Deputy Police Chief

We have information related to provocations, and the police are aware of their tasks. This was stated by Aram Hovhannisyan, the Deputy Police Chief of Armenia, in an interview with NEWS.am while he was also present at France Square.

When asked about the reason for the large deployment of police forces at the rally site, Hovhannisyan replied that they are performing their duties, which they have always done.

He also mentioned that a group was apprehended in Sisian with weapons, but he refused to comment on whether these individuals are connected to the rally or not.

The Deputy Police Chief also denied reports of police checkpoints on regional roads.
