Rumors from Government Circles Spread Since Yesterday: Vanetsyan Appeals to Citizens

The peaceful rally for the future of our homeland. This was stated by Arthur Vanetsyan, the leader of the "Honorary Have" parliamentary group, on his Facebook page.

“Dear compatriots, since yesterday, various rumors have been spreading from government circles about the opposition supposedly planning clashes and confrontations during today's rally. This reveals the political authority's and one person's fears. This is an absolute lie and is being done for one purpose: to prevent people from participating in the peaceful rally.

I officially declare: We will participate in this peaceful and united rally together with our families, our children, wives, and parents. I call on everyone to attend the rally with their families as well.

Our struggle is not against law enforcement or police. We exclude any hostility and disrespect towards the police and other law enforcement agencies. Our struggle is against the political authority. Our struggle is to create a stable and peaceful environment in the country—for the sake of Armenia, for the sake of Artsakh, for our citizens, for our nation, and for a truly peaceful and developing region.

Dear compatriots, be confident, we will succeed… We will succeed because the struggle for our homeland and generations is sacred. We will succeed with our unity, will, and determination. We will succeed together… Shortly at 13:00, I will also address this issue with a video message,” he wrote.
