Clergy to Attend Rally: Father Esayi Khachaturyan

In response to questions regarding the participation of clergy at the rally, Father Esayi Khachaturyan, director of the Information System of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, stated on Facebook that clergy members will be present at today's rally, similar to their involvement in previous political mass events, to help alleviate potential tensions and promote an atmosphere of tranquility.

“Today, on May 1, in response to inquiries from the media about the clergy's participation in the planned rally in Yerevan, I would like to provide the following summarized information: clergy members will be present at today’s rally, as they were at previous political mass events, to help alleviate potential tensions and promote an atmosphere of tranquility. The Mother See urges the participants of the rally and representatives of law enforcement agencies to exhibit vigilance and strict responsibility and to refrain from succumbing to provocations. We pray for the security and safety of our homeland, Armenia and Artsakh, and for the well-being of our people,” he wrote.
