Assault on Deputy Head of State Revenue Committee Department and Chief Tax Inspectors in Yerevan

Materials are being prepared in the Central Police Department under the classification of "violence against a representative of authority." As reported by shamshyan.com, these materials are being prepared based on a signal received by the Central Police Department on April 29. On that day, around 15:30, the police received a report that employees of a state institution carrying out their professional duties were assaulted near the "Atsukh" restaurant on Mashtots Avenue.

On the same day, around 16:00, officers from the criminal investigation department of the Central Police Department apprehended several individuals on suspicion of committing violence against a representative of authority near the "Atsukh" restaurant. Those detained include 28-year-old Harutyun K., who works as a chef at the "Andorr" hotel complex, 24-year-old Haik T., a manager at the "Phaeton" restaurant complex, 26-year-old Armen D., who is a chef at the "Atsukh" restaurant, 30-year-old Levon D., and 27-year-old Stepan M., the director of "Atsukh" LLC. Additionally, 41-year-old Vardges G. and 35-year-old Ashot M., as well as 30-year-old Grigor Kh., were summoned by the police.

According to preliminary information, around 15:00 on the same day, Stepan M. and his father, 49-year-old Arsen M., resident of Yerevan, had an argument with employees of the State Revenue Committee regarding the fulfillment of their official duties, during which they inflicted violence upon 29-year-old chief tax inspector Haik M. from the 3rd department of the SRC, causing bodily harm.

Officers from the Central Police Department are taking operational and investigative measures to locate Haik M. and Ashot M.

According to website sources, Vardges G. is the deputy head of the 3rd department of the SRC, Ashot M. is the chief tax inspector of the 3rd department of the SRC, and Grigor Kh. is also a chief tax inspector at the same department.
