Authorities Responded to Any Question by Saying They Are Azerbaijani Territories, There’s Nothing They Can Do: Tatoyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and other representatives of the government legitimize Azerbaijani crimes with their statements regarding the presence of Azerbaijani armed forces on lands belonging to Armenia. This was stated by former Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan during a public discussion held near Saryan Park.

“The Prime Minister, the current Minister of Defense, who was the Deputy Prime Minister at that time, and the Secretary of the Security Council responded to any question we raised by saying that these are Azerbaijani territories, and there’s nothing they can do. We appealed to international bodies, indicating that life has become impossible there, and they replied, ‘But you have acknowledged that these are Azerbaijani territories, what can we do?’” Tatoyan noted.
