Turkey's Parliament 'Grey Wolf' Speaks on Armenian Genocide

Turkish far-right figure, Devlet Bahçeli, the leader of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), regarded as the political wing of the terrorist group 'Grey Wolves,' addressed a party gathering regarding the Armenian genocide recognition bill presented by opposition Armenian MP Karo Paylan in Turkey’s parliament on April 23. According to Ermenihaber.am, Bahçeli described the bill as a 'disgraceful proposal' and referred to Karo Paylan as 'a rights violator and irreverent.'

At the same time, he expressed satisfaction that the parliament's president returned the aforementioned bill. 'Taking such a disruptive step in the Turkish Parliament is humiliating behavior for all of us. It is evident who this corrupt MP collaborates with. I warn everyone that the Turkish Parliament is not a place for challenges from non-Muslim minorities,' Bahçeli stated.

Following this, he addressed Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, saying, 'Dear Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu, when will you talk about these so-called genocide claims as much as you talk about electricity?' He added, 'Our past is Turkish, our present is Turkish, therefore our future will also be Turkish.'
