VIDEO: Assassination of Vladimir Solovyov Planned on Kyiv's Commission, Says FSB

The Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia announced the arrest of individuals who had planned the assassination of the famous Russian journalist Vladimir Solovyov on the orders of Kyiv.

According to the FSB, "In cooperation with the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the FSB has detained members of the terrorist organization 'National-Socialism/White Power,' which is banned in Russia. They were allegedly plotting the assassination of public figure and renowned journalist Vladimir Solovyov based on a directive from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU)," the agency stated.

During searches, homemade explosives, eight incendiary devices resembling Molotov cocktails, six PM pistols, an RGD-5 grenade, over a thousand rounds of ammunition of various calibers, narcotics, and Ukrainian counterfeit passports were discovered. Items seized from the arrested individuals included photographs of group members, nationalist literature, and equipment.

"Members of the criminal group have confessed to preparing for Solovyov's assassination and had intended to hide abroad afterward. Evidence collection is ongoing as part of the criminal case initiated by the main investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation," the announcement emphasized.

Solovyov himself commented on the situation, stating that Zelensky had expressed dissatisfaction with him in front of his close circle and requested that issues regarding Solovyov be handled in Russia.
