Switzerland Vetoes Germany's Inquiries on Re-exporting Military Ammunition to Ukraine
Switzerland has vetoed the German authorities' inquiries regarding the re-export of military ammunition to Ukraine, which is used in Marder-type German combat vehicles. This was reported by the Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung.
Ammunition produced in Switzerland is utilized for Marder infantry fighting vehicles; however, the confederation restricts their re-export to conflict zones. A representative from the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) informed the newspaper that Germany has sent two inquiries about transferring ammunition to Ukraine.
