Stunt-like Car Accident in Yerevan: Culture House Methodist Crashes Mercedes into Power Pole, Injuries Reported

A major car accident occurred in Yerevan today, April 24. Around 00:30, 38-year-old Samson G., a resident of the Aragatsotn province, lost control of his Mercedes vehicle on Yeghvard Highway, crashing into a power pole on the right side of the road. The impact uprooted the pole, sending it airborne for about 20 meters before the vehicle flipped over in front of the Mashdotz Military Commissariat.

As reported by shamshyan.com from the scene, Samson G. and three passengers—35-year-old Roman G., a citizen of Germany; 55-year-old Hovhannes M., also from Aragatsotn province; and 35-year-old Irina G., another German national—were hospitalized with bodily injuries at Armenia Medical Center. After receiving first aid, they refused further medical assistance and were discharged.

A photojournalist at the scene noted that the first responders were the driver and passengers of a Renault Logan, who were parked nearby due to a previous accident involving a flat tire. The driver of the Mercedes works at the Talin Culture House as a methodologist. He underwent sobriety testing and was found to be sober.
