Video: "Artsakh is not an object to give away or not to give away" - Pashinyan

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan began today’s cabinet meeting by summarizing his recent visit to Moscow and providing details regarding the negotiations related to the resolution of the Artsakh issue. In this context, he stated that after every such meeting, he has informed various high-ranking figures in the Armenian government and political circles, including the President of Artsakh, about the discussions he held.

He then expressed dissatisfaction with the opposition parties, noting that he wanted to meet with them to share the current state of the negotiations and what he has discussed in various meetings, but the opposition, according to him, "for reasons that are perhaps understandable," declined to meet with him. He accused them of fabricating conspiracy theories and basing their activities on those legends.

Pashinyan also addressed the recurring rumors about his signing a document to hand over Artsakh, declaring that there is currently no project on the resolution of the Artsakh issue that is on the table or in circulation. "As for handing over Artsakh, I must apologize a thousand times and state that Artsakh is not an object to give or not give away; Artsakh is, first and foremost, the people living there," said Pashinyan. He added that if they were to hand over Artsakh, they would not be spending tens of millions of drams to ensure the return of the Artsakh residents to the region after the war.
