The tragedy that occurred in Donbas compelled Russia to begin a special operation,” said Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting at the Kremlin with winners of Russian competitions and Olympiads, while conversing with a 12-year-old girl who left Luhansk eight years ago.

It is noteworthy that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov mentioned in an interview with India Today that a new phase of the special operation is beginning in Ukraine.
