Conditions Being Created for Large-Scale Attack: U.S. Reveals Where Russian Forces Are Concentrated

Russia is ramping up shelling and airstrikes in southern and eastern Ukraine. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby stated that the activity of Russian military personnel in Mariupol shows no signs of abating; however, the Ukrainian defenders in the city continue to hold the line, as reported by Nexta Live.

“We continue to see the concentration of Russian airstrikes and artillery in the Donbass and south, particularly in and around Mariupol,” Kirby said. According to the Pentagon representative, Russian command is creating conditions for more extensive attacks in eastern Ukraine.
