Ukraine Completes Application for EU Membership

Ukraine has completed its application for membership in the European Union. This was reported by the Reuters news agency. According to Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Ihor Zhovkva, this will serve as a starting point for the EU when making a decision about Ukraine's acceptance into the union.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen delivered the questionnaire to Volodymyr Zelensky during her visit to Kyiv on April 8. According to Zhovkva, the Ukrainian side has completed the questionnaire and is now awaiting the European Commission's recommendation regarding compliance with membership criteria.
