No One Can Predict the Actions of the Kremlin's Old Man: Ukrainian Official on the Likelihood of Nuclear Weapon Use
The probability of Russia using nuclear weapons against Ukraine is extremely low. This was stated by Vadim Denisенко, an advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs, as reported by Ukrainian media.
“At this point, there is no talk of any nuclear strike. Can we theoretically rule it out? No, unfortunately, we cannot, but the probability is extremely low,” he said.
The advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs noted that the Russian Federation could only use nuclear weapons as a last resort, as afterward, the closest remaining allies of Ukraine, particularly China, India, and Belarus, could abandon Russia. But no one can predict the actions of the Kremlin's old man. Before the onset of large-scale war, anyone was 100% sure that he would initiate a broad conflict against Ukraine.
