Indian Businessman Suggests Elon Musk Buy Sri Lanka's External Debt Instead of Twitter

Kunal Bahl, the head of the major Indian e-commerce company Snapdeal, has proposed to American billionaire Elon Musk to purchase Sri Lanka's external debt instead of acquiring Twitter. This was reported by the Mint publication.

“Elon Musk is offering $43 billion for Twitter. Sri Lanka's external debt is $45 billion. He could buy it and call himself Ceylon Musk,” said Bahl.

Elon Musk, who recently became the largest shareholder of Twitter, had proposed to buy the company for $41.39 billion.
