Biden Earns Nearly Five Times More Than Putin: Biden Releases Tax Return
U.S. President Joe Biden has released his tax return, revealing that his family earned $610,000 in a year, with $150,000 paid in federal taxes.
Biden's family income mainly came from the president's annual salary of $400,000 and both spouses' pensions. Additionally, Biden reported receiving $62,000 from an anonymous corporation controlled by the Bidens, which earned money from two publishers, Simon & Schuster and Flatiron Books, in 2021, according to The New York Times.
On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin also released his income data. According to these figures, Putin earned 10.2 million rubles in 2021, approximately $127,500 at the current exchange rate. This means that Biden has earned almost five times more than Putin.
