US to Spend Millions on Maintenance of Yachts Seized from Russian Businessmen: Bloomberg
The United States is forced to cover the expenses of yachts seized from Russian businessmen, which amount to millions of dollars. Bloomberg reports that Andrew Adams, head of the Justice Department's working group on sanctions against Russia, stated that the yachts must be kept in 'good condition.' Specifically, the maintenance of the Tango superyacht, reportedly belonging to Russian billionaire Viktor Vekselberg, will cost about $9.5 million annually. The estimated value of the yacht is approximately $100 million.
