VIDEO: Stay Away, Don’t Hit – Tension Rises at Chekhov School
At Chekhov School, a new principal has not been elected again, and the situation is tense, with the school’s doors closed. Candidate Diana Minasyan, who according to circulating rumors is the wife of former Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan's friend, received 4 votes, while Angela Karapetyan received 1 vote, and Tatevik Melkonyan also received 4 votes. Thus, another competition for the position of school principal must be announced.
“I have no connection with Tigran Avinyan. Yes, my sister works in the government. She has been working in the government for over 10 years. The information that I have patronage is completely false. I graduated from the Armenian State University of Economics with a specialization in management. I have defended my thesis and become a candidate of economic sciences in management. I have been teaching at the Armenian State University of Economics for 10 years. I have also lectured at a public educational institution in Italy. I possess not only pedagogical but also scientific-pedagogical experience and knowledge,” Minasyan said in a recent conversation with reporters, as reported by Hraparak.am.
It should be noted that the principal position at Yerevan’s A. Chekhov High School No. 55 has been vacant for a long time. This is yet another competition for the vacant principal position, but due to the existing rules regarding the election of a principal, no candidate has been recognized as a winner.
