Ukrainians Strike the 'Moskva' Ship with Neptune Missiles, Major Fire Erupts
The Russian Ministry of Defense has announced the outbreak of a fire on the missile cruiser 'Moskva'. It has been reported that ammunition detonated during the fire on the ship.
"One of the leading ships of the Black Sea Fleet has suffered serious damage, the crew has been fully evacuated, and the causes of the fire are being investigated," states the Ministry of Defense's message.
Earlier, Maxym Marchenko, head of the Odesa regional administration, claimed that the 'Moskva' was attacked by Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles. Turkish media reports that the ship could sink at any moment, and 54 sailors have been rescued by a Turkish vessel.
