How Much Money Did Elon Musk Offer to Buy Twitter?
American businessman Elon Musk has offered to buy all of Twitter's shares, according to a document published on the website of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
The businessman explained that he previously acquired shares of Twitter (9.2%) because he believed it could become a platform that respects the principles of freedom of speech worldwide.
“However, upon investing in the company, I realized that it will neither thrive nor serve social needs. Twitter must become a private company; in this regard, I propose to buy 100% of Twitter,” Musk's statement said.
