Sale of 'Kinder' Brand Chocolates Produced in Belgium and Germany Suspended
According to additional information received from the International Network of Food Safety Authorities (INFOSAN), five products of the 'Kinder' brand produced in the Kingdom of Belgium and the Federal Republic of Germany are considered risky.
The Food Safety Inspection Body reports that, combining information acquired during state control with data received from INFOSAN, the sale of the following products of the 'Kinder' brand has been suspended:
- Kinder Surprise Uovo Maxi 100g – 1728 pieces (172.8 kg) produced in Germany
- Kinder Schokobons 125g – 3792 pieces (474 kg) produced in Belgium
At the same time, it is noted that there are no restrictions on the sale of other 'Kinder' brand products, and these remain available for sale.
Samples have been taken from the suspended batches and submitted for laboratory examination. Results will be published.
