Gagik Tsarukyan Sells His Kotayk Brewery

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that according to circulating information, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, has sold his Kotayk brewery. The buyer is Garegin Mkrtchyan, who is engaged in fuel importation alongside the Sukiasyan family. It is rumored that Khachatur Sukiasyan is Garegin Mkrtchyan's "roof", resulting in Mkrtchyan successfully buying the brewery from Tsarukyan.

We attempted to contact the new owner of the brewery, Garegin Mkrtchyan, to clarify whether he indeed purchased the brewery and what connection Sukiasyan has with it. Initially, Mkrtchyan stated that he does not wish to make any comments as he is a businessman, not a politician, and has no desire to become embroiled in such political matters.

"I ask you not to involve me in any political processes; yes, I have bought the brewery, I am a businessman, and I have no connection with Khachatur Sukiasyan. It belongs to me; I am my own 'roof'. Our business with the Sukiasyan family is 'Ran Oil', in which I have a stake. Moreover, I have very good relations with Gagik Tsarukyan and Khachatur Sukiasyan. I emphasize once again that I am conducting my business activities diligently, and do not mix my business activities with politics. Please leave me alone," our interlocutor concluded.

Details will be available in the newspaper's issue.
