Dear compatriots, I have been appointed as the Minister of Emergency Situations by the President's decree: Armen Pambukhchyan
Armen Pambukhchyan has been appointed as the Minister of Emergency Situations, as announced by the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan. Pambukhchyan shared the news on his Facebook page, stating: "Dear compatriots, I have been appointed as the Minister of Emergency Situations by the decree of the President of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, upon the recommendation of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan."
The former Minister of Emergency Situations, Andranik Piloyan, was arrested for two months on March 31, facing corruption charges. He was relieved from his position on April 1.
It is worth noting that earlier, the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reported that within the Ministry of Emergency Situations, there is a belief that although former My Step Alliance MP Pambukhchyan is not a bad person and is a team player, he does not possess a deep and comprehensive understanding of the sector.
