56-Year-Old Man Murdered in Goris; Suspect Linked to Opposition Politician Sought
A 56-year-old man has been murdered in Goris. According to Shamshyan.com, on April 10 at around 11:20 PM, the Goris Police Department received a call from the Goris Medical Center informing that a body with a "wound to the right side of the chest and a gunshot wound to the left thigh" had been brought in.
The deceased has been identified as Gurgen Khachatryan, a resident of Goris. Law enforcement officials have determined that, according to preliminary information, at around 11:00 PM on the same day, 32-year-old Harutyun Sinanyan, also a resident of Goris, shot Khachatryan during a dispute that arose over personal matters.
