Foreign Ministry Has New Proposal: 'Zhoghovurd'
Armenia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs is proposing the elimination of the embossed seal as a component of notarized acts.
According to the newspaper 'Zhoghovurd', the current system employs a 'QR' code and an 'e-verify' system, which allows for the verification of the authenticity of a certified document. Under such circumstances, the need for an embossed seal is becoming obsolete, as its use represents a waste of additional resources, including material costs, time, and additional actions.
Furthermore, providing embossed seals to the bodies of Armenia's diplomatic service is a more complicated and costly process due to the expenses involved in acquiring the seals and their transportation via diplomatic mail. Diplomatic personnel are appointed for a three-year term, necessitating a change of the embossed seals every three years.
