Google Does Not Delete Anything: Websites Are Simply Blocked, Says Google

Google has blocked access to the websites of state bodies of the Russian Federation, but has not removed these sites from search results, the company informed RIA Novosti.

Earlier, "Roskomnadzor" announced that, according to available data, the American Google search engine has excluded the websites of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Internal Affairs from the search results for the Russian audience.

"These websites are blocked in Google Search. We have not taken any action regarding these web pages and are investigating the situation," the company stated.
