VIDEO: 90 Migrants Die Attempting to Reach Europe from Libya

More than 90 migrants have died in a shipwreck while trying to reach the shores of Europe from Libya. According to the Italian newspaper Avvenire, published on April 4, there were around 100 people on the inflatable boat.

This information, as noted by the publication, is based on the testimonies of four individuals rescued by the crew of the Algria 1, a tanker operating in the shipwreck area. The boat was heading to Libya.

Representatives of non-governmental organizations, including Doctors Without Borders, insist that the survivors should not be sent back to Libya and demand that they be granted a 'place of safety' for disembarkation, according to TASS.
