Russian Forces Launch Several Missile Strikes on Mykolaiv

On the morning of April 4, Russian forces launched several missile strikes on the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv, reported the city's mayor, Oleksandr Senkevych, according to Unian.

It is noteworthy that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the initiation of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In a televised address, he stated that the circumstances demanded "decisive and immediate actions, as the Donbas people's republics have requested assistance from Russia."

According to the Russian leader, all responsibility for bloodshed would lie on the conscience of the regime in power in Ukraine. He called on Ukrainian soldiers not to follow the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and go home.
