Poisonous Pastries for Russian Soldiers: Casualties Reported
At least two Russian soldiers have died, and another 28 are in intensive care after residents of the Izium district in Kharkiv, Ukraine, prepared poisonous pastries for them. This was reported by meduza.io, citing a statement from the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Ukrainians are resisting the invaders by all possible means. According to available information, residents of the Izium district (Kharkiv region) ‘served’ poisonous pastries to soldiers from the 3rd Motor Rifle Division of the Russian Federation,” the intelligence statement said.
The Russian Ministry of Defense has not commented on the Ukrainian allegations regarding the poisoned soldiers. Independent sources have yet to confirm this information.
