Draft Law on Recognition of Armenian Citizens' Driver's Licenses Presented to Russia's State Duma
The government has submitted a draft law to the State Duma that proposes the recognition of driver’s licenses issued to Armenian citizens in Russia for business and employment activities. The document was published today in the Duma's electronic database. This was reported by TASS.
"The amendments provide for the recognition of national driver’s licenses of citizens of the Republic of Armenia on the territory of the Russian Federation when carrying out business and employment activities," the draft states.
Currently, similar provisions exist for citizens of Kyrgyzstan and those countries whose legislation recognizes Russian as an official language.
