Road Section Remains Closed Due to Bridge Damage: Ministry of Emergencies

The Ministry of Emergencies has reported that there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the Republic of Armenia. The roads from the "Amberd" high mountainous meteorological station in Aragatsotn Province to the Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake are closed.

The Vardenyats Pass is challenging for trucks with trailers. The section of the M3 highway in the Ararat Province, between Lusagyugh and Yeraskhahun, is closed to heavy vehicles due to damage to a bridge, with the alternative route via Aknashen-Gayi-Metsamor-Dzhrarat currently operational.

Additionally, there are patches of black ice on the roads in the Aragats region of Aragatsotn Province.
