Ministry Reports on Damaged Gas Pipeline

During construction works on the new road at the 6th kilometer of the Tandzaver-Shurnukh route, a gas pipeline was damaged. This was reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

Currently, recovery works are being carried out. It is noteworthy that earlier, "Gazprom Armenia" LLC had informed that on April 2 of this year, during road construction works, the Goris-Kapan-Kajaran main gas pipeline was damaged over a 13.5 km section.

To carry out emergency recovery works, the gas supply to the communities of Goris and Kapan cities, as well as the regions of Goris and Kapan in Syunik Province, and the Republic of Artsakh, has been suspended since 11:10 AM.
