Why Several Bus Routes Are Not Operating Today: City Hall Comments

Today, April 1, the bus stops in Yerevan were crowded with people who were dissatisfied with several routes that are not operating. According to our information, routes number 10, 20, 65, and several others have gone off the schedule. This was reported by ‘Hraparak’.

The press service of the City Hall informed the media that there are 7 routes in total, which were planned to go into service starting April 3, but will now be operational from tomorrow, April 2. They are currently focusing on this issue. Two of those routes will be serviced by new “Zhong Tong” buses, while the others will be run by new small-sized buses.

“The issue will be resolved starting tomorrow; the private bus routes that are being replaced by our vehicles could not refrain from going out today. But from tomorrow, alternatives from our side will be introduced. Today, there might be some level of tension, but everything will get back on track starting tomorrow,” the City Hall’s press service stated.
