Ukrainian Soldiers Fail to Appear on Al-Jazeera Live Broadcast
Ukrainian soldiers have unsuccessfully attempted to appear on Al-Jazeera's live broadcast. Correspondents captured the moment when Ukrainian forces emerged from an ambulance in Irpin, which is under Kyiv's control.
It is worth noting that on the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch of a special military operation aimed at the demilitarization of Ukraine. In his televised address, he stated that the circumstances “demand decisive and immediate actions from us, as the people's republics of Donbas have appealed to Russia for assistance.”
According to the Russian leader, the entire responsibility for the ensuing bloodshed will lie on the conscience of the ruling regime in Ukraine. He urged Ukrainian military personnel not to follow the criminal orders of the Ukrainian authorities, to lay down their arms, and to go home.
