"Relations with Armenia Will Be Regulated" Says Cavusoglu

The Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu spoke about Armenian-Turkish relations in an interview with Turkish A Haber television, noting that Azerbaijan supports this process.

"The war is over, and we must learn lessons from it. Steps must be taken to establish stability in the Caucasus. Both we and Azerbaijan will open our borders. Relations with Armenia will be regulated. After the elections, in addition to positive signals, we appointed special representatives who met twice but are in constant communication by phone. We have taken steps to increase confidence, and flights have resumed,” said Cavusoglu.

He mentioned that work is being done for the reopening of the railway, and there are also political contacts. "The Armenian Foreign Minister participated in the Antalya Diplomatic Forum. I was very eager for us to meet in three, but that was not possible. Armenia has isolated itself with its attitude towards us and Azerbaijan. Everything cannot be regulated in one day," added Cavusoglu, emphasizing that Armenia needs to accept Azerbaijan's proposals regarding the peace agreement.
