Ukraine Secures Loan from France

Ukraine has signed an agreement with France to receive a loan of 300 million euros for a term of 15 years, Ukraine's Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko announced on Wednesday, as reported by RIA Novosti.

"Yesterday, an agreement was signed with the French Development Agency of the French government, and we are obtaining a loan of 300 million euros on favorable terms. Negotiations are also underway with Canada regarding a bilateral international loan of 500 million dollars, which is in the final stages," Marchenko stated during a press briefing.
