Sanctions Against Russia Are Returning to the West Like a Boomerang: Medvedev

Sanctions against Russia have already led to negative consequences for Western countries. This was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia.

“Just a few weeks after the imposition of the 'hellish' sanctions against Russia, as expected, it became clear that they are returning to the West like a boomerang,” he wrote on his Telegram channel.

“Global inflation is rising. It seems that a recession is beginning in Europe, which could spread worldwide. Fuel prices are increasing at astronomical rates,” Medvedev noted.

“However, it is impossible to globally restrict Russia. It turned out that we are ready for these predictable attacks,” emphasized the Deputy Chairman of the Security Council.
