Dozens of Armenian Prisoners Continue to Endure Inhumane Conditions: Amnesty International
The British organization Amnesty International has published a report that also addresses the illegally held Armenian prisoners in Azerbaijan and their future fate.
The report mentions that back in September, the European Council expressed "concern over the fact that dozens of prisoners are being held in inhumane conditions." According to the report, the exact number of those still in captivity in Azerbaijan was not known by the end of the year.
“Dozens of prisoners continue to remain in inhumane conditions and are subjected to swift, unjust trials. The fate and whereabouts of around 30 Armenian prisoners remain unknown amid claims of their enforced disappearance and possible execution,” the report states.
