Snow Avalanche on the Main Road of the Stepanavan Tunnel: Rescuers Investigate if There Are Civilians Trapped

For more than 30 minutes, a state of emergency has been declared in the administrative area of Pambak village along the Vanadzor-Stepanavan highway.

According to reports from the scene by shamshyan.com, a severe snow avalanche has completely blocked the main road of the Stepanavan tunnel. The height of the avalanche blocking the road is 8 meters. At this moment, traffic in the specified area has been halted.

Currently, rescue teams and police are conducting reconnaissance operations to determine whether there are any civilians trapped beneath the avalanche.
