Since August 2020, Azerbaijan's Army 'Control Package' is in Turkey's Hands, Says Tigran Abrahamyan

When analyzing or assessing the actions of the Azerbaijani army, it is crucial to remember that since August 2020, the army's 'control package' is in the hands of Turkey. This was stated by Tigran Abrahamyan, a deputy from the 'I Have Honor' faction of the National Assembly, on his Facebook page.

'From the main operations to information provision, everything is carried out from Turkey. The communications of Azerbaijan's leadership, including its ministers of defense or foreign affairs, hold no value if there is no agreement between Russia and Turkey. Turkey is among the most interested parties in the South Caucasus, creating points of tension through other hands and aiming to 'wear out' Russia. Existing contradictions and escalations should be viewed from this perspective,' wrote Tigran Abrahamyan.
