Everything Must Be Done to Ensure Azerbaijani Soldiers Return to Their Original Positions: Sanosyan
As of yesterday, the Azerbaijani side had not vacated the positions it occupied in Karaghough, and today I have not yet spoken with our partners in Artsakh. This statement was made today, March 28, during a conversation with journalists at the National Assembly by Gnel Sanosyan, the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.
In response to a question about whether Azerbaijan might be demanding concessions in exchange for gas, the minister initially stated that, in his opinion, they are unrelated, but added that he cannot comment further as he is not participating in the discussions.
“One thing is clear: the positions that were occupied on November 9 have been violated in both village and height directions. I believe that all sides must do everything possible to ensure that Azerbaijani soldiers return to their original positions,” announced Gnel Sanosyan.
It’s notable that today, the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published maps highlighting that the incursion of Azerbaijani units into Nagorno-Karabakh continues within the responsibility zone of the Russian peacekeeping forces. “The map representing the situation on March 28, 2022, at 09:00 shows that Azerbaijani outposts are located within the area of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Nagorno-Karabakh,” stated the announcement from the Armenian Foreign Ministry.
