Azerbaijan Promised Russia to Withdraw Armed Units from Parukh, Then Backed Out: Hokikyan
Azerbaijan promised the Russian side to withdraw armed units from Parukh, then once again broke that promise. The enemy does not bother with developing different tactics. They enter our territory, act with impunity, and stay for several days, occasionally promising to leave, but they do not. They remain and establish themselves.
This was stated by journalist and analyst Nairi Hokikyan on his Facebook page.
“The armed forces of Azerbaijan continue to stand in the village of Parukh and the surroundings of the Karaglukh height. The information disseminated by the Russian Ministry of Defense does not correspond to reality. The reality is that Azerbaijan promised the Russian side to withdraw armed units from Parukh, then once again broke that promise.
The enemy does not bother with developing different tactics. They enter our territory, act with impunity, and stay for several days, occasionally promising to leave, but they do not. They remain and establish themselves. This happened in the area of Sevan Lake, near Vardenis, in Nerkin Hand, near Shurnukh, and in Paylasar. Now it is the same in Parukh and Karaglukh. I have no doubt that Azerbaijanis will not leave that area anymore unless military force is applied against them. After clearing Karaglukh, the enemy will try to seize the heights of Varnkatagh or Chagatsari. Armenian security structures must predict one step ahead,” wrote Hokikyan.
